If a student will be absent from school, the parent or guardian is expected to phone Operation P.L.U.S. before 9:00 AM. - (570) 544-9078. After an absence, the parent or guardian must provide a note within three days explaining the absence.
Weather closings follow the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit. When it is announced that the Intermediate Unit is closed or has a delayed opening, Operation P.L.U.S. will also be closed or delayed. Local radio and television stations will broadcast delays and closings.
