SHA'S Mission is to promote the environmental integrity of the Schuylkill River, and its tributaries, and the watershed that lies within the boundaries of Schuylkill County.

SHA'S Objectives:

a. To advocate the wise use and preservation of the natural resources in the watershed to the aesthetic, recreational and economic benefits of the citizens of the area.

b. To educate the public regarding the inter-relationships of our water, soils, plants, animals, and people who share the ecosystem, and the efforts of human actions on that relationship and quality of life; and

c: To seek and acquire available sources of government, private, or public funding for projects to improve the quality of the watershed.
