Writing Club wasn't my first choice of clubs, but it wasn't bad either.
I Was Horrified

I was horrified to see the monstrosity that just happened.
Two planes hit the Twin Towers!
While I watched the two humongous buildings rumbled into chunks of debris.
I thought of all the people inside.
I knew alot of people would die but I hoped alot would survive.
I think the Nation will recover but will never be the same.
I wonder if this could happen again but I hope it never does.
Sunset
The sun looked marvelous as it sank low, cutting shades firery orange and yellow into the blue cloudy sky. The trees looked as if they were engulfed in flames. The sunset carved a deep orange line under the depthless blue sky. Dark waves of orange blasted the clouds, making them turn into waves of orange coloring the endless blue mass called the sky.

Ryan was published in Anthology of Fifth Grade Poetry.
