Education at St. Ambrose School is the integration of Christian living and academic pursuits. In addition to the Christian ideals, we strive to engender in our students a love of and enthusiasm for learning.

Our curriculum follows the Diocese of Allentown guidelines that are based on the state and national standards. We provide a solid background in academic subjects essential to a strong educational foundation.

Recognizing the importance of social justice, we encourage our students to contribute their time and talents to those in need.

Our students participate in many activities beyond the classroom. Students take part in such programs as the National Society of Professional Engineers Math Counts program, the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair, the “Greater Harrisburg Area “24” game Challenge”, the National Science League, and the annual Schuylkill County Envirothon. In addition, our students have had their writing published in the “Teacher’s Choice Anthology”. Some of our students have qualified for the Johns Hopkins Talent Search and have been honored for their excellent scores.

We have a very active student council organization that allows students to develop their leadership skills.

CYO athletic teams available to our students include volleyball, basketball, and softball.
