The purpose of the Parent Council of St. Ambrose School is to promote the welfare of the children at St. Ambrose School, to sponsor projects that will benefit the school community and to support the faculty and administration of the school in the enhancement of the student's education.

Meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center when school is in session.
The Current Elected Officers of the Parent Council for 2007-08 are:

Mrs. Angie Dowd, Treasurer

Parent Council relies on the involvement and suggestions of parents/guardians to achieve their goals. In order to do this effectively, a committee structure is set up. Any parent can participate on these committees.

Educational Aides Committee
Help with collections of General Mills box tops for purchases for school

Help with collections of Campbell's labels for purchases for school

Hospitality Committee
Welcome Council members and coordinate publicity for Council activities and events

Membership and Telephone Committee
Assist in registering and collecting dues at Council meetings
Chaired by Mrs. Linda Donnelly
Program Committee
Help to coordinate special programs during the school year for students

Social Committee
Help to plan social events for students during the school year
Chaired by Mrs. Tammy Orloski and Mrs. Tammy Behun
Ways and Means Committee
 Help with all fundraising events during the school year such as the Chinese Auction, Book Fair and others
