Hi! My name is Danielle Kulich. I've been in the Writing Club for two years now and have written over 100 poems. Mrs. Rohrer is a very good instructor -- she helped us alot. Here's two of the many poems that I wrote this year.
I Know You Are Sad

I know you are sad,
So am I,
It's hard to believe,
So many could die.
This terrible thing,
Happened in New York City,
It wasn't nice,
It wasn't pretty.
They went off to work,
One ordinary day,
They thought it was fine,
They thought it was okay.
We went off to school,
And turned on the T.V.,
We prayed for them,
We prayed it wasn't me.
They heard a rumble,
Then they felt a mash,
Next thing they saw,
Was their lives go by in a flash.
Now pray to heaven,
That we have enough to defend,
God Bless America,
Hopefully that was the end.
Life is Precious
God gives life to everybody,
Including you and me,
He gives life to many plants,
Small ones like flowers; large ones like a tree.
Do not hold a grudge,
It is not a sin,
But if you wish bad on others,
You will never win.
God gives life to all the pets,
Including dogs and cats,
Even animals that can fly,
Like little birds and bats.
Only God can take away life,
Don't you even try,
He will choose a special time,
For you to say goodbye.
