Dear Benefactors of St. Ambrose School,
The Critical Hour Is At Hand For Catholic Education!
As you know, the Synod is planning the future of Catholic education in the Diocese of Allentown and there will be difficult decisions ahead for those involved in the process. Each year in planning our own budget here at St. Ambrose School, we have difficult decisions as well. In addition to ever-rising education costs, this year our water heater required replacement. Of course, our school is very much affected every year by rising healthcare and heating costs. Technology, too, is absolutely vital to the education of students today and we must keep abreast of the changes in technology.
However, many wonderful things are in our favor. To our benefit, our school is one of the most accessible, well-maintained facilities in the area. Our academics are challenging and our students have proven themselves advanced in local, statewide and national competitions. Our teachers are dedicated with over 165 years of combined teaching experience solely at St. Ambrose. Our parents are a strong, tight-knit group of people who know how to accomplish goals.
Will we be celebrating our 100th Anniversary of educating children at St. Ambrose School in the year 2014?
That’s where you come in! You are the vital link in helping our students receive updated technology, current textbooks and tuition assistance. You are the vital link in helping us to maintain and upgrade our classrooms and teaching supplies. You are the vital link in so many lives!
We are asking for your help with Academic Appeal 2007-08 for this coming school year. Your tax-deductible gift (in any amount) is appreciated and 100% of your donation stays right here at St. Ambrose School. This year, we hope to add your name to the donor display blackboard at the back of church (you may also donate in memory of a deceased loved one or in honor of someone living). You have the power to keep St. Ambrose School alive!
